Three Marinas Marlin duration of the event is four days of fishing and
one day of rest, and the champion is decided by
points based on the number of marlins caught
and released. Other species such as wahoo,
events in 2023 dorado and tuna also compete.
For its part, the Big Game Trolling Tournament
takes advantage of the potential offered by
the northern zone of Cayo Coco and Cayo
Guillermo. The fishing area includes up to
five miles to the north-northeast between the

competition will be governed by the rules of the
International Game Fish Association through the
mark and release system in order to protect the
marine environment.
Finally, the Fotosub 2023 underwater photography
contest is focused on certified divers, and
contestants from Cuba and other countries will
participate. It will take place in Cayo Largo del Sur,

its coasts and seabed, ideal for diving, snorkeling
and underwater exploration. The competition
days will consist of dives that will be mainly in the
morning, and there will also be options not included
such as parties on the beach or night diving. It is a
very special opportunity that every year allows for
showing the world Cuba’s underwater beauty.
