Smart tourism arrives

in Cayo Santa María

C ayo Santa María is advancing in its

transformation as a Smart Tourism
Destination for Cuba and the Caribbean.
This islet sets a regional precedent by implementing
a strategy that combines innovation, sustainability
and efficiency in tourism management.

Although it has not yet achieved official status, the
enclave located on Cuba’s northern coast is already
showing significant progress on this path, and after
applying a rigorous assessment, it has achieved
21% of the indicators established by the Smart
Tourism Destination model.
